The stator winding is the heart of a servo motor. When the winding burns or short-circuits due to overheating, voltage spikes or fluid ingress, the motor loses torque, overheats and the drive faults. We do not release a motor from our lab until the winding regains its original magnetic values.
We strip the old winding, clean the stator core and rewind it to original turn and cross-section values with Class-H (180°C) insulated copper wire. We then saturate the winding with varnish using VPI (Vacuum Pressure Impregnation) and cure it in industrial ovens. Finally we verify insulation with megger and short-circuit tests and deliver the motor under warranty after dynamic balancing. See our services.
Industrial servo motors are costly and many are no longer available. Rewinding to original values restores full performance at a fraction of full-replacement cost.
